Dr. Chao
Dr. Chao moved to Traverse City in 2000 from his native California. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA, a Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Pacific, and a Masters Degree in Business from Golden Gate University. He is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and he is a certified CPR instructor for the American Red Cross. He is also a member of the Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute.
Dr. Chao has 2 sons, and enjoys tennis, cycling, swimming and spending time with his boys.
Julie
Julie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Gualph in Canada in 1996. In 1999 she graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked at the Garfield Dental Group since January, 2003. Julie lives in Traverse City with her husband Dan and 2 children, Matthew and Lilly.
Kathryn
Kathryn is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been with Garfield Dental Group since 2005. She received her degree from Northwestern Michigan College.Kathryn is a life- long resident of Northern Michigan. She and her family enjoy touring beautiful Northern Michigan by way of camping and snowmobiling.
Linda
Linda is a graduate of Ferris State University. She has been a practicing dental hygienist for over 5 years. Since graduation, Linda has continued her studies and completed the national board exams for administration of nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. “I absolutely love what I do. I don’t see myself doing anything else anytime soon!”
Dian
Dian has been with Garfield Dental Group for 3 years, after moving back to Traverse City from Florida. She works up front with insurance, billing and scheduling and looks forward to seeing you.
Jaylyn
Jaylyn is a Registered Dental Assistant that has been with Garfield Dental Group for a year. She completed the Dental Assisting program over the summer. Jaylyn is enthusiastic, and the perfect addition to our team. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle
Michelle works in the front office and has been with the practice since 2003. She completed the Dental Assisting Program in 2003 and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has found that the front office is where she is best suited. Michelle does billing, insurance, and scheduling. She is married and has 3 daughters that take up most of her free time.
